Lodging eGST returns is extremely easy to do through our MYOB Essentials online accounting product. It means no more forms, envelopes or calculators. And for MYOB AccountRight users, the service will be coming to the latest version of AccountRight in the next couple of months.
If your clients are sick of manually managing their GST obligations, they’re really going to enjoy this service. The way it works is that GST return data is prepopulated through MYOB software, based on sales. The return can then be securely sent to the IRD directly through the cloud-based platform, and means they (or you) no longer need to manually enter figures into a separate GST return and print a copy to send to Inland Revenue.
For me, the ability to file GST returns online further demonstrates the benefits of cloud-based business accounting software. We’re committed to delivering new innovations in business accounting to help New Zealand businesses grow and succeed.
