Who’s your payroll hero?

12th September, 2017

Who’s the most important person in your whole organisation? The payroll wizard responsible for making sure you’re paid in full and on time.

Everyone loves payday, right? But it doesn’t happen somehow, magically.

Instead, it’s the unsung hero that is the payroll officer which makes going to work all worth it.

You can talk about finding meaning and context in your work all you like, but at the end of the day we’re all there for one reason.

Luckily, MYOB makes payroll a breeze, which is why one in three Kiwis is paid through an MYOB payroll solution – making us the market leader.

So we make a lot of businesses hum, but who makes our business hum?

We’re running a competition over on Facebook for the month of September asking you to nominate your business’ payroll hero.

They’ll go into the draw to win a double movie pass, as a reward for sterling service which puts a smile on everybody’s face.

We’re giving away a total of 20 passes, 10 for nominators and 10 for nominees.

However, we can’t celebrate payroll heroes without celebrating our own payroll rockstar, Stacey Cowan!

A bit about Stacey

Stacey had an opportunity to move from an Accounts Payable/Receivable role into Payroll five-and-a-half years ago when she moved to Christchurch.  Three years later she accepted her position at MYOB where she is responsible for New Zealand payroll, plus she assists our team in Australia with payroll as well.
