I am delighted to share with you that MYOB has strengthened its commitment to the New Zealand payroll market by acquiring Information Management Services Limited (IMS).
IMS is a leading provider of payroll solutions to over 10,000 small and medium businesses in New Zealand and has been serving New Zealand businesses with a range of payroll solutions for over 30 years. Uniting its market-leading range of payroll solutions with MYOB’s cloud accounting services is an exciting step for both businesses.
Following the successful acquisition and integration of PayGlobal in August 2014 and Ace Payroll in May 2015, IMS is the third New Zealand payroll solutions company we have recently acquired. We are investing substantially in developing the next generation of online payroll solutions.
In addition to enjoying the same great service, IMS customers will soon be able to access MYOB’s next generation of online payroll solutions, which are currently being developed following our announcement in May.
New Zealand has a complex payroll compliance regime and employers grapple with a range of considerations. MYOB’s goal is to re-imagine what payroll solutions can deliver for SMEs in terms of productivity, compliance and helping strengthen their trusted relationship with employees.
We estimate that over 30 percent of the New Zealand workforce is paid using MYOB software. We’re committed to providing easy online payroll solutions for all employers – whether they have one employee or 500.
