Demystifying the EXO Payroll Registration process

The EXO Payroll Registration process was automated last year as part of the 2015 Compliance release.  As a result, new messages appeared in the software as the registration renewal date approached.

Below are answers to some frequently asked questions regarding the process.

Q. A red message appears at the top of the screen: Registration Status : XX days remaining. What should I do?

A. Click on the message to bring up the registration screen. Click the register online button at the bottom of the screen.

Q. After clicking register online, a message appears indicating registration was not successful. What should I do?

A. The registration/history report will be automatically emailed to the MYOB EXO team, who will contact you within 1-2 working days. No need to phone us, we will contact you.  You can continue to use the software in the meantime.

Alternatively, the message may indicate the Annual Licence Fee invoice has not been paid.  Please ensure this is paid.  The software will continue to check automatically and when invoice has been paid, the registration will occur automatically.

Q. I have received an email MYOB EXO Employer Services Registration Details – Company Name. What should I do?

A. This email contains the details required to register your payroll for the coming year. If there is an error in the automatic registration process we’ll issue the details manually via email.

Please ensure you update this as soon as possible, otherwise you’ll continue to see the Registration Status message at the top of the screen.
