New local franchise powerhouse announces partnership with MYOB

Australia’s leading business solutions provider MYOB is delighted to announce a partnership with TASKFORCE Australia, a new model service franchise system launching Saturday 20 September, founded and owned by Australian V8 Supercar driver, Jason Bright.

As part of the partnership TASKFORCE has chosen MYOB as its supplier of choice for accounting solutions and mobile payments for their entire franchise group.

MYOB General Manager, Business Division, James Scollay says that MYOB is committed to working with TASKFORCE to further enhance how their franchisees use mobile technology to make business life easier.

“MYOB are delighted to partner with TASKFORCE in the launch of its exciting new approach to franchises, which we believe will allow many Australians to realise their ambitions to start their own business.

“It is a rare and inspiring day in Australian business when a company can launch with more than 1500 territories sold from day-one.

“We’ve worked hard with Jason and his team to develop a solution to help make starting up and running these businesses as easy as possible,” says Mr Scollay.

TASKFORCE Founder Jason Bright says, “TASKFORCE has been 15 years in the making. The technology has now evolved to enable us to overcome many of the big challenges facing small Australian businesses today.

“Our model includes no upfront territory fees, no lock-in contracts and all the benefits of being part of a large and supportive collective. We’ve removed the hurdles which in the past have prevented small businesses from becoming part of a larger franchise network.

“By partnering with MYOB, we’re able to equip our franchisees with the best possible tools for success from the start.”

Launching on 20 September at the Automotive Centre for Excellence in the Docklands with their very first training day, TASKFORCE is offering free sign-writing for franchisee company vehicles. Representatives from MYOB will conduct training on how cloud accounting and mobile payments solutions can help transform their small business by streamlining previously time consuming tasks. Other major suppliers will be on hand to discuss the systems in place to secure their exclusive TASKFORCE discounts.

Including MYOB, TASKFORCE has partnered with GeoOp, Hyundai, Holden, Bunnings, National Franchise Insurance Brokers, and Telstra.

GeoOp Managing Director Australia, Rhonda Robati, has confirmed that the job management software company is working toward full integration with MYOB AccountRight Live and MYOB Essentials.

“We’re excited to partner with TASKFORCE and MYOB, and can confirm that GeoOp’s full integration with MYOB is a priority project for us” says Ms Robati.

MYOB already offers a number of initiatives to bring connected services and solutions to SMEs, such as TASKFORCE franchisees. This includes popular mobile payments solution MYOB PayDirect.

Each year MYOB invests more than $35 million in research and development specifically to provide superior solutions that meet the needs of Australian and New Zealand business owners and their business advisors.

To date, 250 TASKFORCE franchises have been sold nationally. Businesses wanting to register to become part of the TASKFORCE network can register their details at
