Is there a minimum subscription period?

Nope. And there are no lock-in contracts either. Pay monthly (or yearly to save more) and enjoy the flexibility to cancel anytime. If you choose annual billing, your cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period, and you’ll have full access until then – plus read-only access for 60 days after. No drama, no awkward goodbyes.

How long does it take to set up?

Just a few minutes — honestly. Your coffee won’t even get cold.

  1. Start using Solo by MYOB by purchasing a subscription here. 

  2. Once you’ve created an account, simply download the iOS or Android app on your phone. 

  3. Sign in using your subscription account details. Once you’ve signed in, we’ll guide you through the quick set-up so you can spend less time on admin and more time doing what you do best. 

Does this app work if I’m already an MYOB customer?

Not quite. To get started with Solo, you need to purchase a Solo subscription via our website. Once you’ve purchased a subscription, simply download the Solo by MYOB app on your phone and log in using your subscription account details! 

What is the difference between Solo and Lite?

Solo by MYOB is an all-in-one app available via Google Play or Apple App Store. It is best suited to a sole operator who wants a better solution than spreadsheets to track their income and expenses, as well as send invoices on the go. Features needed for managing a team, like Payroll, are not included. Turn your phone into a payment device with the Tap to Pay functionality, or opt for online payments that let your customers pay straight from their invoice. Long story short: Solo is for a single user, who just needs the basics. 

MYOB Business Lite is a 100% web-based product, perfect for you if your business needs easy-to-use accounting software with a little more functionality. You can use MYOB Business Lite to track the progress, profit and loss and expenses of every job. You can even customise your plan and scale up with payroll and inventory when you're ready. Lite allows for unlimited users and is for those with more traditional accounting needs. 

Can I access Solo on the web?

Nope. Solo is 100% app based on your phone. Simply purchase a Solo subscription here, download the iOS or Android app and watch the magic happen! 

Will there be updates to the Solo app?

Yes, we will constantly be rolling out new features to Solo to make your life easier and simpler! You’ll be the first to know when they are live in the app. 

Can I let other people use my account?

The Solo app is designed for use by one user at a time. But don’t worry – if you have an accountant, bookkeeper or tax agent, you can invite them to your Solo account for easy tax time collaboration. Download and share reports, or give them secure access to your file – they'll have access to all the records they need to smash EOFY, you get to focus the good bits. Win win!

How do I manage my account?

You can manage your MYOB account by signing into My Account (myaccount.myob.com). It's your self-service portal where you can: 

  • View your MYOB subscription and payment details 

  • Change business address details 

  • Change business name 

  • Change contact name 

  • View or pay your MYOB invoices 

  • Cancel your MYOB subscription
