Can I use my account on my phone?
Our new all-in-one mobile app, Solo by MYOB, allows sole operators, freelancers and the self-employed to work on the go. Effortlessly create invoices, snap 'n track expenses and enable in-person payments with Tap to Pay – all from your phone.
For small business plans, our accounting software is compatible with all browsers on desktop, mobile, and tablet. Plus, you can enhance your workflow with our companion app, MYOB Assist, which allow you to create invoices and snap receipts directly from your mobile device. Can I let other people access my software?
Solo by MYOB app is designed for use by one user at a time. But don’t worry—you can easily download reports and share them with your BAS or tax agent if needed!
If you choose our more Lite, Pro, AccountRight Plus or Premier, you can share your account with your advisor, accountant, bookkeeper or business partner at any time for no extra cost. You can also control what they can see and do by adjusting their access levels.
Do I need to install any software?
Solo by MYOB is a fully-mobile app – you can download the app on the App Store or Google Play and work on the go.
MYOB Business Lite and Pro are 100% web-based. No downloads required. Just login to MYOB on your browser, and use it on computer, tablet or phone.
For bigger businesses that need features like advanced inventory, multi-currency or time billing, you’ll opt for MYOB Business AccountRight Plus or Premier, which includes some software to download on Windows computers.

Can I track jobs and bill customers by time?
With MYOB Business Lite or Pro, you can track a job's progress, profit and loss, and expenses.
If you'd like to bill your customers based on time or attach individual budgets to each job you track, check out our MYOB Business AccountRight Plus and Premier plans.
Can I migrate my data into my MYOB Business software?
There are two ways to move your data to MYOB.

Can I change my software plan later on?
If you have an MYOB Business plan, you can! If your business grows (congrats!) or your needs change, you can adjust software features like inventory or payroll in a few clicks.
However, if you choose Solo by MYOB, just a heads-up: you won’t be able to change your plan at a later time. Once you pick Solo, you’re all set! So, it's a good idea to make sure it’s the perfect fit for your business right from the start.
