Offer Details
1. Who is eligible for this offer?
This Offer can only be taken up by original recipients of the ‘Refer a Friend’ email (the ‘Referrer’) and their friend(s) or family member(s) (the ‘Referee’), who are first time subscribers to MYOB.
For the avoidance of doubt, if the Referee has previously held an MYOB subscription in the last 30 days, then they are ineligible for this Offer.
MYOB Partners (as defined in the MYOB Partner Program Terms and Conditions), are ineligible to participate in this Offer as either a Referrer or Referee.
2. When is the Offer available?
The Offer is available from 26 August 2024 till 26 October 2024 (the ‘Offer Period’), unless otherwise varied by us.
3. What is the Offer?
a) Eligible Referrers will receive three (3) months credit on their Primary Account, calculated based on the value of their base subscription as at the time when the Referee:
subscribes to an Eligible Product via the instructions provided in the email they receive directly from the Referrer; and
remains an MYOB customer for at least 90 days from subscribing (‘Minimum Subscription Period’).
(collectively ‘Eligibility Criteria’).
b) If the Referrer changes their Eligible Product subscription during the Minimum Subscription Period, their 3 months credit will be calculated using whichever is the lower amount of their base subscription.
c) Eligible Referrers will receive the credit to their Primary Account within 30 business days of the Eligibility Criteria being satisfied.
d) Eligible Referees will be entitled to pay a discounted price equal to either:
$5 AUD (inclusive of GST) per month for a base subscription of MYOB Business Lite for 8 months (no free trial period);
$8 AUD (inclusive of GST) per month for a base subscription of MYOB Business Pro for 8 months (no free trial period);
50% off the then-current standard full price for MYOB Business AccountRight Plus for 3 months, with an additional 30 day free trial period; or
50% off the then-current standard full price for MYOB Business AccountRight Premier for 3 months, with an additional 30 day free trial period.
(individually the ‘Discount Period’).
e) The Discount Period starts on the date the Referee purchases a subscription to an Eligible Product.
f) If the Referee upgrades or downgrades their subscription to an Eligible Product during the Discount Period, they will be entitled to the revised discounted price for the remainder of the relevant Offer Discount Period only.
5. Conditions and Limitations on the Offer
By accepting the Offer, the Referrer and Referee agree to be bound by these Terms.
a) This Offer may be redeemed once only. The Offer is capped at one successful referral per Referrer.
b) The Referrer cannot refer another business entity that is owned by themselves. Any such referrals will be deemed ineligible for the Offer.
c) If you use this Offer in a manner that is not satisfactory to us or in line with the intent of the Offer (such as sharing your referral link on the ‘OzBargain' website, forum website, other similar websites, or advertising or marketing your referral link publicly), we may refuse to pay the credit and rescind any discounts provided to you under the Offer. This includes conduct on your part which is designed to undermine the fair and intended operation of the Offer.
d) This Offer is not applicable in conjunction with any other offer unless expressly indicated otherwise.
e) The Offer does not apply to any additional services or premium features which incur additional charges. Examples of these excluded charges include fees associated with the use of the Online Invoice Payments, premium feature such as Payroll, and excess transaction charges. By accepting this Offer, you agree to pay any additional fees or charges during your license period.
General
6. MYOB reserves the right to extend or withdraw this Offer at any time at its sole discretion. If withdrawn, MYOB will honour the Offer in respect of all Eligible Product subscriptions purchased using the correct promotional link, before the Offer is withdrawn, provided that Referrer and Referee satisfy the Eligibility Criteria.
7. The Offer does not replace or limit your statutory rights, including your rights under applicable consumer laws.
8. We may collect and use information about you and for the purpose of administering the Offer and otherwise in accordance with our Privacy Disclosure Statement and Group Privacy Policy (AU) and Privacy Policy (NZ).
Definitions
Eligible Product means MYOB Business Pro, MYOB Business Lite, MYOB Business AccountRight Premier or MYOB Business AccountRight Plus.
We, us, our or MYOB means:
MYOB Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 13 086 760 198) of Level 3, 168 Cremorne Street, Cremorne, Victoria 3121 if you accept these Terms in Australia; or
MYOB NZ Limited (Company Number 902338) of 17 Sir William Pickering Drive, Burnside, Christchurch 8053 if you accept these Terms in New Zealand if you accept these Terms in New Zealand.
