Move to MYOB from Xero, QuickBooks or Reckon

Moving your data from Xero, Intuit Quickbooks Online or Reckon to MYOB is quick and easy. Plus, MYOB will cover the cost of the current and previous financial years’ worth of transactions.

Fees apply for the conversion of additional transactions.

All your business needs. All on one platform.

Simplify billing with online invoices

Create, customise and send professional-looking invoices from any browser or device — at your desk, or on-the-go. Simplify your processes and save time with features like invoice tracking, recurring invoices, eInvoicing, and automated payment reminders (for those who need a little nudge).

Manage your payroll (and the IR)

Payroll processing doesn't need to be a process. Calculate taxes, leave and KiwiSaver, report Payday filing and complete your pay run in just four easy steps. We'll even alert you if something looks wrong, like extra annual leave.

Organised and automated expense management

Stay on top of your expenses and save time by scanning your receipts or emailing bills directly to your software. Major suppliers like Bunnings, Reece and Mico can send invoices straight to your software too. We'll extract the data and pre-fill all the details — organised and accurate, every time.

Start with what you need, add the things you want

As your business grows, your needs will change. MYOB flexes to meet you where you are. You can add functionality like inventory and payroll whenever you need them.

What do I need to do before my data is moved to MYOB?

Before you submit your request, there are a few things you will need to do within your old file to prepare it for the migration and ensure no transactions are lost:

  1. Make sure all users stop entering data in your old file before exporting to avoid additional costs.

  2. Reconcile all your bank and credit card accounts. Address unreconciled transactions and identify issues such as duplicate entries.

  3. Resolve all outstanding bills or invoices that are not going to be paid.

  4. Ensure your contact list and employee leave records are accurate.

  5. Review your inventory and adjust any negative stock.

  6. Make a backup file.

NOTE: Any data entered into the new MYOB file prior to the MMC Convert data conversion will be erased, so please don’t enter any real data until the conversion is done!

Are there any steps I need to do after I move my data?

Yes, we recommend you obtain the advice of your tax agent or financial advisor when completing your first round of GST, PAYE and run reports for your GST return after the conversion.
