MYOB strengthens product leadership with appointment of Chief Product Officer

Deepesh Banerji to drive MYOB’s product innovation as the company continues to evolve

MYOB, a leading provider of business management solutions, today announces the appointment of Deepesh Banerji as Chief Product Officer. Deepesh will lead MYOB’s product strategy and vision, initially focussing on MYOB’s solutions for sole operators, small businesses, accountants and bookkeepers.

Deepesh joins MYOB from workforce management platform Deputy, where he was most recently Chief Product Officer. He brings more than 26 years’ experience across product, engineering and technology leadership, including senior roles at Beem, the Australian payments platform, and Paramount, the global entertainment company, as well as earlier engineering positions at BlackBerry and SAP. His career reflects deep experience building products and teams in high-growth technology businesses.

MYOB CEO Paul Robson said the appointment would further strengthen the company’s product leadership as it continues to deliver next-generation technology for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

“For 35 years MYOB has been trusted to help more Australian and New Zealand businesses start, survive and succeed. Deepesh brings significant experience and a clear understanding of what it takes to build and innovate products that create lasting value for small business owners, accountants and bookkeepers.

“I’m pleased to welcome him to MYOB and look forward to the contribution he will make as we continue to grow our solutions for local SMEs.”

Deepesh commences at MYOB in November 2026.
