Procore integrates with MYOB for mid-market construction firms

MYOB Advanced Construction and Procore now deliver a platform that connects onsite and office teams in real time.

MYOB has recently announced a joint initiative with Procore Technologies to provide an intuitive and integrated new platform for construction firms, with the result offering construction businesses in Australia and New Zealand a best-in-class digital solution that effectively manages all areas of their projects – from resource and project management, to financials and payroll.

When it comes to construction projects, we know that each decision made out on site gets made according to the given project’s budget, and at the same time those choices need to be automatically captured in the field and accounted for at head office.

And that’s why Procore, a leading provider of construction management software with over 1.6 million users worldwide, is a natural fit for MYOB Advanced Construction, as explained by Tom Karemacher, vice president of Asia-Pacific for Procore.

“Procore could see strong alignment with MYOB on a number of fronts when we were assessing the possibility of a partnership and how we can solve for what the industry needs,” said Karemacher.

“Procore’s vision is to improve the lives of everyone in construction, and we are impressed with MYOB’s focus and investment in the construction industry, truly putting the needs of the customer at the center of its solutions.”

The new integration provides the following benefits to construction industry operators:

  • Remote access to information between office and field staff
  • Streamlined approval processes for subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Synchronisation of data between MYOB and Procore
  • Single login for multi-entity businesses

Head of product, Enterprise for MYOB, Valantis Vais, said the new partnership with Procore further cements MYOB’s commitment to supporting business growth in the construction sector.

“Procore is globally renowned for both its expertise and the strength of its complete construction management platform. MYOB is excited to be partnering with Procore to offer enhanced capability and provide even more benefits to local construction firms,” said Vais.

“Partnering with Procore means our MYOB Advanced Construction customers now have the ability to input, update and share critical accounting and on-site information in a single source of truth for all stakeholders who need access — from the CFO, to subcontractors, to supervisors.

“It’s designed with this 360-degree use in mind.”
