Change the primary contact on an MYOB account

The primary contact is typically the person who set up the MYOB subscription. They are authorised to act on behalf of the business and to manage the relationship with MYOB, and can:

  • Pay your MYOB subscription invoices

  • Change your MYOB subscription plan and payment details

  • Change the business name on your MYOB invoices

  • Update your business address and contact details

  • Remove, replace or add an Owner user in a MYOB file.

To change the primary contact

What you do depends on whether the primary contact is still in the business.

The primary contact is still in the business

If the primary contact is still in the business, but shouldn't be the primary contact, they can submit a support request in My Account to nominate a new primary contact.

The primary contact is no longer in the business
