This first video gives you an introduction to the thriving MYOB Partner Community you’ve joined. We’ll show you the tools and resources available, and how you’ll be rewarded and recognised as an MYOB Partner.

2. Introduction to MYOB Practice 

Video summary

MYOB Practice is your centralised base to manage your clients’ data, streamline your workflows and securely collaborate with your clients. It’s included for free as a member of the MYOB Partner Program.   

In this short video, we’ll give you an overview of how MYOB Practice can help manage your practice’s key processes including:  

  • Manage your client files  

  • Document filing 

  • Client portal collaboration 

  • Client advisory 

  • Tracking your activities and points in the Partner Hub.

3. Set up your staff

Video summary

In this short video, we’ll look at the steps to set up your staff in MYOB Practice to start managing clients’ data and securely collaborating with clients. 

To get your staff set up: 

  1. Create each staff member an my.myob account. 

  2. Give staff access to the clients they work with.   

  3. Add your staff as MYOB Practice users. 

As a Practice owner, you’ll find comfort knowing that your staff are using one tool, and you have security around which client files your staff have access to.

4. Get certified

Video summary

As your clients’ trusted advisor, you want to make sure you recommend the right features and workflows for their business, right?  

To get you started, the Partner Program offers certifications in MYOB Academy. These are available for free to members of the MYOB Partner Program.  

There are three certifications available in MYOB Academy:  

  1. MYOB Business  

  2. MYOB Business Payroll 

  3. MYOB Practice 

After completing a certification, you'll get a digital badge for your professional profile to show off your new skills or gain new clients... and of course you’ll earn partner points for your practice!     

Additionally, when you complete these three Certification courses at MYOB Academy. You can gain Certified Practice recognition too. The three courses can be completed by one or more staff members to gain certified practice recognition. For example, three staff members can complete one certification course each. 

In this short video, we’ll show you how to register for MYOB Academy and enrol in our Certifications.

5. Recommend the right MYOB subscription

Whether your clients are start-ups in garages, or manufacturing powerhouses, we have the solutions of all businesses sizes, shapes and sectors. With several subscriptions to choose from, your clients can start with the core features they need and add capabilities as their business grows. 

In this video we’ll look at the different MYOB Business subscriptions available so you’re confident to recommend the right solution for your clients’ business.

6. Set up your clients

Video summary

In this video we’ll look at the steps to get your clients set up in MYOB Practice so you can manage your clients’ data and start securely collaborating. 

To get your clients set up: 

  1. Manually create or import clients into MYOB Practice. This acts as your centralised CRM that all staff can use to access client details.  
    Note: If you’re using MYOB AE/AO, you can sync your client contacts to MYOB Practice.  

  2. Link existing client files or create new client files.
