Solo Money accounts do not need to be renewed, as they do not expire.
The connection between Solo and your bank accounts and credit cards expires every 12 months. You can renew the connection up to 30 days before it's due to expire. The Solo app will let you know when it's time to renew, and we'll send you email reminders too.
Renewing your connection
Renew your connection to confirm that you'd like Solo to keep receiving transactions from your bank.
The process to renew the connection is similar to when you first connected your account to Solo. You’ll be asked to sign in to your online banking.
Before you connect, make sure you have:
-
access to your banking app or site, including your sign-in details
-
your phone nearby for security codes.
Go to Home and scroll down to Connected accounts.
Under the account that needs to be renewed, tap Renew connection.
Follow the prompts to renew the connection.
The connection will need to be renewed again in 12 months. The yearly expiry keeps you in charge of your bank data, so you decide if you want to keep sharing it.
