Changes to Partner Program points and certifications

We're changing the MYOB Partner Program so it's easier to use and better aligns with how you work. We're rolling out these changes in a few stages:

  • 1 January 2025 – MYOB Academy certifications that you hold from this date no longer need to be renewed each year.

  • 1 November 2025 – Current status point earning system ends.

  • 2026 (Exact date to be announced) – Refreshed program begins.

From 1 November 2025, your Partner Program status tier will be preserved and remain unchanged until the refreshed program is released in 2026.

Partner Program members will continue to benefit from complimentary access to MYOB Practice Compliance, an MYOB subscription to manage your business, product training, discounts or commissions when referring a client, marketing support and access to partner events and webinars.

MYOB Academy certification no longer requires yearly renewal

If you hold MYOB Academy certifications from 1 January 2025, there's no requirement for annual certification renewal at this time.

All your certifications will remain valid, whether they're current, due for renewal or expired in 2025.

You'll receive updated badges and certificates with new MYOB branding by the end of 2025.

Current points system is ending

From 1 November 2025, as part of our program's evolution, we're discontinuing the current points earning system.

This means that from 1 November 2025, you will no longer earn status credit points under the current Partner Program. You'll keep all points you've earned before this time. You’ll keep your existing partner status and existing benefits until the refreshed program is released in 2026.

There won't be any tier downgrades in 2025 or going into 2026, regardless of point totals.

In 2026, we'll announce more details about Partner Program changes. Stay in the loop with future changes:

  • in the partner section of the Community Forum

  • through the Partner Newsletter

  • by emails to the primary contact at your practice.

Partner Program benefits continue

Partner Program members will continue to benefit from complimentary access to Client Workspace in Practice Compliance, an MYOB subscription to manage your business, discounts or commissions when referring a client, product training, marketing support and access to partner events and webinars.

You can still join the Partner Program during the transition period. New Partner Program members will be awarded purple tier status.

Continue earning points and engaging in the Partner Program through to 1 November 2025.
