Submitting timesheets
Depending on how your site is set up, you may or may not need to meet minimum hours before you can Submit and Post your timesheet.
You can see hours required , hours entered , and any difference at the top of each day column. If minimum hours are required, the system will not allow you to submit a timesheet that doesn’t meet these requirements.
Once your timesheets are ready to submit, you can:
From the Calendar timesheet view, click Submit at the top.
Any timesheets that can be submitted will be displayed for selection – select those you wish to submit
If you haven’t met the minimum hours the system will give you this error when you try to submit.
Click Submit

From the Timesheet Summary screen:
Click Submit on individual batches, or
Select multiple timesheets using the tick boxes, then choose Submit from the Actions drop-down menu.

After submission, the background in the Calendar view will turn yellow.
You cannot edit a submitted timesheet. If you need to make changes, first Un-Submit using the relevant options on the Timesheet Summary screen.
Approving and posting timesheets
Once your timesheet has been submitted, the next step is approval.
Depending on your MPM setup, Approving may also Post your timesheet in the same step. If this applies, the message will display as “Approve and Post”.
You can approve timesheets in several ways:
From the Calendar timesheet view, click Approve. Any timesheets that can be approved (ie. have been submitted) will display with a tick box available for selection.
Alternatively – navigate to menu - Timesheet > Approvals.
On this screen there are two tabs: Approve/Reject and Approved/Posted.

Use the Date , Type (Timesheet or Disbursement), Employee , and other filters on the Approve/Reject tab to locate submitted timesheets.
Select the relevant timesheets using the tick boxes and click Approve Selected. The timesheets will move to the Approved/Posted tab.
Repeat the process for any disbursements.
If your timesheets are approved and posted in a single step, you’ll find them under the Updated to eCost status.
If approval and posting are separate steps, locate the timesheets on the Approved/Posted tab using the filters (including Status = Approved), select and click Submit to e‑Cost.
Time sheets are considered posted when their status says ‘Updated to e-Cost’

Unposting timesheets
If you have the correct permissions, you can unpost a timesheet to make changes, provided:
The timesheet is dated in the current or a future period (based on your site period settings).
Any billed timesheet entries cannot be changed.
If a timesheet entry has been picked up on a draft fee , it cannot be changed while it is selected. Unallocate it from the fee first, to open the entry available to edit.
You can unpost a Timesheet batch in the Time & Expense screen by either:
Clicking the < icon at the end of the batch line, or
Selecting the relevant batches using the tick boxes and choosing Actions > Unpost.
