Log in to MYOB Practice Management from the website for your practice. Once you're logged in, use the Profile page to change your password, choose your personal settings and, if you're an administrator, customise the login screen and dashboard.
Your administrator controls who can log in and which settings you can change.
Before you start
You need an approved user account. Your administrator sets this up, then gives you the website address for your practice along with your user name and password.
Practice Management works in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge. Pages might look a little different in each one, but the application works the same.
Your administrator receives a generic password when MYOB Practice Management is set up, then gives you a user name and password.

Go to the website for your practice.
Enter your user name and password.
Click Login.
Stay logged in: Select Remember my login and you won't have to enter your details next time. You'll only see this option if your administrator has turned on Enable Remember Me in System Options.
Forgotten your password: Click Forgot Password on the log in screen. You'll get an email with a link to reset it.
Set up your profile
Your profile is where you tailor Practice Management to the way you work. If you're an administrator, it's also where you brand the site for your practice. To change your setting, select Profile from the Settings menu.
You can:
change your password
check your details and adjust your personal settings
[Administrators only] add your practice's logo and login background image
reset your dashboard back to its default layout

Change your password
Enter your current password.
Enter your new password, then enter it again to confirm.
Click Change Password.
If you change your mind, click Cancel and your current password stays as it is.
Tailor the settings to how you work
Edit Profile shows your user name, last login, name and office, along with the settings you can change. Your administrator sets many of these for the whole practice, so what you see may already suit how your team works.
Change what you need, then click Save Profile.

Settings that depend on your practice setup
The following settings appear if the related features are used by your practice:
CDM Password appears if a consultant has enabled CDM for your practice. Enter your CDM Password, press the green button to validate it, then click Save Profile.
Auto submit zero weekend Timesheets appears if your practice uses daily timesheets. Set it to Yes and click Save Profile. Weekend timesheets with zero hours are then submitted with your next manual timesheet submission.
Brand the site for your practice (Administrators only)
Administrators can add a background and company logo to the login screen and main dashboard. You can use the template images supplied with Practice Management, or upload your own.
In Custom Images, choose whether you're uploading a login background, corporate logo or report logo, then upload an image that matches the type, size and dimensions shown on the page. If it doesn't match, the page tells you what to fix before you try again.
To use an image as the login background, select Use Custom Background, then click the green tick in the Select column. Your image moves to the top of the list and becomes the login background.
You can only have one corporate logo at a time. To swap it, delete the current one and upload the new one.
The corporate logo background is white by default (colour code FFFFFF). Enter the HTML colour code you want and click Set Colour, or click Set Default to go back to white.
Reset your dashboard
Click Reset Home Page at the bottom of the Profile page to go back to the default layout.
Warning: this clears any changes you've made to your dashboard.
