About digital signatures
A digital signature is a legally-binding way to electronically sign a document, and is covered by:
the Australian Electronic Transaction Act of 1999
New Zealand Electronic Transaction Act of 2002. See also: Digital signatures fact sheet (NZ).
MYOB has explicitly sought approval from government bodies that our clients deal with (ASIC, ATO and IRD) to ensure there are no issues with our digital signing method.
With just a few clicks, your clients can review, approve and digitally sign their forms, and you’ll get notified right away, so you can lodge them faster.
To make this happen, your clients just need access to a portal. If you haven't set one up for your client yet, go to the Portal list and click Create portal.
Once the portal is created, each user will receive an email inviting them to log in. Then you can start sending them forms for their approval.
