When you enter your payment details, MYOB verifies your credit or debit card with a $0 pre-authorisation. This is a verification check and will not place a hold or result in a charge. It tests that your payment details are valid, your card is active, and you can cover payments for an MYOB subscription (should you decide to subscribe). This check is also performed if you change your payment details.
How does MYOB protect my card details?
All information you provide to MYOB, including credit or debit card payment details, is confidential and will be handled in accordance with the MYOB Privacy Policy.
MYOB takes reasonable steps to protect the personal information you give us from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure, in line with industry standards. This includes technical and organisational measures, such as arming our web pages with encryption technologies.
Can I change my payment details later?
Yes, you can change your saved payment details in My Account if you’re the business owner (the primary contact for your MYOB subscription or trial).
Log in to My Account.
From the Billing menu, choose Payment details.
Click Update payment details.
Choose the payment method you're changing and enter the details for the account you want to use.
Click Save.
