Invoice and quote settings

You can change your invoice and quotes settings in the app via Money in > settings (⚙️) > Invoice and quote settings.

Change the look of invoices and quotes

Change the logo and colour of your invoices and quotes to communicate your brand to customers.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙️).

2. Tap Invoice and quote settings.

3. Tap Invoice and quotes template to see a preview of your current template.

4. Tap Logo and colour to add, edit or remove a business logo and choose your brand colour. You can tap Preview template to see how it looks.

5. Tap Save when you’re happy.

Choose the business and contact details shown on invoices and quotes

You can show or hide your business and contact details on invoices and quotes. For example, if you no longer want to share your address with customers, you could stop it from showing your invoices and quotes. The address would still be remembered by the app and show on your reports.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙️).

2. Tap Invoice and quotes settings then Invoice and quote templates.

3. Tap Contact details.

4. Choose the details you want shown on your invoices and quotes. To see how it looks, tap Preview template.

5. If you want to change the business or contact details, tap Edit, change the details and tap Save.

6. Tap Save.

Change the bank details and PayID on invoices

When you created your first invoice in Solo, you added the payment details that are included on your invoices for customers to pay by direct deposit (BSB and account number) or PayID.

You can change these details or remove them from your invoices in your settings.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙) in the top right.

2. Tap Invoice and quotes settings then Invoice payment settings.

3. Choose the options you want to include on your invoices. To edit the details, tap Edit PayID or Edit direct deposit, enter the details and tap Save.

Change the email address customers reply to for invoices and quotes

The reply-to email is where emails are sent when your customers reply to an invoice or quote email. You can change the email address in invoice and quote settings.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙) in the top right.

2. Tap Invoice and quote settings then Emails.

3. Next to Reply-to email, tap the email address or Add.

4. Enter the email address and tap Save.

Change the sender name on invoice and quote emails

The Sender name is the name that displays on invoice and quote emails when you email them from the app. Typically, the name is something your customer will recognise, like your name or your business name.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙) in the top right.

2. Tap Invoice and quote settings then Emails.

3. Next to Sender name, tap the name.

4. Enter the name and tap Save.

Entering prices with or without GST

If you're registered for GST, you can choose how you enter the price of items (GST already included or added on top after). This is reflected in what appears on your invoice too. To change this setting:

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙️).

2. Tap Invoice and quote settings.

3. Tap Tax display and choose:

   • Include GST – the GST is already included in the price, so the customer pays the same amount you enter.

   • Add GST – the app adds on GST to the price you enter, so you only need to enter the price without GST. The invoice will show the total amount, which is made up of the amount you entered plus GST.

4. Tap Save.
