Troubleshooting sync issues

Are you experiencing an issue with syncing your file?

We've listed some the errors that you may see, with the fix

I am not an Administrator of this ledger" when trying to sync a MYOB Business file

Make sure that the you're ticked as an Adminstrator in the Roles and permissions in the MYOB Business file. Go to Manage users to find out how to manage roles and permissions

Check the error message is not in your bookkeeping system

Make sure to check the error message is redirecting to check your details in the underlying bookkeeping system such as losing access to the file.

Error - We were unable to access your data with <bookkeeping system> with credentials used by this sync. Please ensure that the user who set up this sync has full access to the file in <bookkeeping system>

This can occur if your access rights to the file data are accidentally removed or if the connection becomes outdated after a while. Click Reconnect sync to connect again.
