Within the billing screen, you'll be able to select the type of bill – select Invoice.

When you open the Invoice module, the batch details are displayed. The same batch details apply to Invoices , Fees , and Reversals.

Batch details
Processing Office | This will default to the office you are allocated to as an employee. If you need to raise the fee to another office, change this field to the appropriate office. |
ProForma No | Leave this as-is, the system will use auto numbers to allocate the next invoice/fee number |
Invoice Date | System Options control your Invoice Date Capture Date - can be pre/post-dated within current or future period System date – will set to the date when the invoice is approved (or the last day of the current period) EOM System date – will set to the last day of the current period e.g. if approved on 15th March, the invoice will be dated 31st March |
Approver | Choose either ‘System Assigned’ (based on Approval settings) or a specific approver again based on your approval settings |
Debtor details
Client | Choose your client by typing their name or client code |
Biller | Biller will default to the Client Partner, you can change this if you need. |
Office | Office will default to the Processing Office selected above. |
Service Line | Service Line will default to the Service Line the Biller is linked to |
In this example select Bondi rental services.

Enter the amount and check that the GST applied (this is sourced from the client profile) is correct.
To add narrations, you have several options:
* Type directly into the Narration box.
Use the Std Fee drop-down – these are the standard fee notes set up in the system. You can search by typing into the box.
Use the Narration builder to choose recently used narrations for this client or user.

Once the invoice line is complete, click the Save icon in the Bill item to ensure it saves correctly, moves into the blue section, and adds the amount to the bill.
You can then add another line or edit an existing line by selecting the Pencil icon in the blue section.


If you’re happy with the invoice, click Save and close. Once you save and close, you’ll be able to return to this invoice later to continue working on it.
If you’re ready for the invoice to go through the approval process, click Submit , then click Yes to confirm the submission.
