A. Offer Details

1. Who is eligible for the Offer?

The Offer is available to Eligible Members of the MYOB Partner Program and Eligible Customers in Australia.

2. When is the Offer available?

The Offer is available from 9:00am on 18 March 2024 until 5:00pm 30 April 2024 (the Offer Period).

3. What’s included in the Offer?

An Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program or an Eligible Customer who complies with section 4, is entitled to a reduced price for the base subscription of an Eligible Product until 30 April 2024. The reduced price will be 50% of the standard full price advertised on MYOB’s website for the Eligible Product.

Subject to any limits set out in section 5, MYOB will also provide one (1) digital GiftPay gift card equal to:

  • $250 for each Desktop Product or Manual Solution that is migrated to an Account Right Plus or Account Right Premier subscription during the Offer Period;

  • $100 for each Desktop Product or Manual Solution that is migrated to an MYOB Business Pro subscription during the Offer Period;

  • $50 for each Desktop Product or Manual Solution that is migrated to an MYOB Business Lite or MYOB Business Connected Ledger + Payroll subscription during the Offer Period; or

  • $35 for each Desktop Product or Manual Solution that is migrated to an MYOB Business Connected Ledger subscription during the Offer Period.

Use or redemption of any Giftpay gift card is subject to the terms and conditions of the gift card issuer.

GiftPay gift cards will be issued in Australian dollars and sent to the listed MYOB Partner Email Contact for a Partner Pays subscription or to the listed Customer Email Contact for a Customer Pays subscription, within 45 days after eligibility for the Offer is confirmed. Eligibility for the GiftPay gift card will be assessed at 90 days after activation of the Eligible Product, based on whether the requirements in section 4 have been satisfied.

4. How to accept the Offer

To accept the Offer, an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program or Eligible Customer must:

  • purchase, or arrange for an Eligible Customer to purchase, a subscription for an Eligible Product directly from an MYOB sales representative;

  • migrate the applicable Desktop Product to the Eligible Product during the Offer Period;

  • provide MYOB with an Email Contact to receive the Giftpay gift card;

  • activate the Eligible Product; and

  • maintain the customer file for at least 90 days from the date of activation, if the subscription is a Partner Pays subscription.

5. Conditions and Limitations on the Offer

(a) This Offer is subject to the Terms of Use of the Eligible Product.

(b) The Offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer. For example, it cannot be used in conjunction with a ‘30-day free period’.

(c) The Offer is only valid if the Eligible Product subscription is held for the Minimum Term. Termination of an Eligible Product subscription prior to the Minimum Term will result in the standard full price being payable for the remainder of the Minimum Term.

(d) The reduced price will be applied to the base subscription fee for the Eligible Product. It will not be applied to additional fees and charges incurred if Users elect to use Premium Features.

(e) Use of Premium Features may attract additional fees or charges and may be subject to additional terms and conditions. For example, additional fees and charges and terms and conditions apply to the use of Online Invoice Payments.

(f) From 18 March 2024 until 30 April 2024 , there will be a AUD $2,000 limit on the total face value of gift cards sent to an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program and their customers.

(g) Eligible Members of the MYOB Partner Program and Eligible Customers are responsible for checking whether the Eligible Product may be a comparable replacement for a Desktop Product or Manual Solution. For example, Users may need to activate Premium Inventory in order to access the same number of inventory items available via a Desktop Product and will not have access to multi-currency features.

6. What happens at the end of the Offer Period and Minimum Term?

At the end of the Offer Period and Minimum Term, the cost of your Eligible Product subscription will automatically revert to your relevant Partner Program tier membership pricing. By providing us your credit or debit card details and agreeing to our Direct Debit Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge that the subscription automatically renews on a monthly basis and you authorise us to debit your credit or debit card, the then-standard MYOB partner pricing fees, for your relevant MYOB Partner program membership tier at the end of the Offer Period and Minimum Term.

B. General

7. We may vary or discontinue the Offer at any time. We will still honour the Offer if it has been accepted by an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program or an Eligible Customer prior to it being discontinued.

8. The Offer does not replace or limit your statutory rights, including your rights under applicable consumer laws.

9. If you accept this Offer on an unsolicited sales call, this Offer is subject to a 10-calendar day cooling-off period. If you change your mind during the cooling off period and decide not to accept the Offer, you will not incur penalties and any money you have paid to us for the Eligible Product will be refunded.

10. MYOB values your privacy. We may collect and use information about you for the purpose of administering this Offer. Please visit our Privacy Disclosure Statement; and our Privacy Policy for Australia for more information on how we collect, use and disclose your personal information.

C. Definitions

Activate and Activated means performing at least one of the following actions in an Eligible Product:

  • creation of a manual journal entry;

  • creation of a manual “spend” or “receive” money transaction; or

  • reconciliation of a bank transaction (typically from a bank feed).

Desktop Product means an MYOB Business AccountRight or AccountEdge desktop product, that is not part of a current MYOB subscription.

Email Contact means:

  • the name and email address for the contact nominated by an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program if they pay for a subscription to an Eligible Product either for their own use or on behalf of an Eligible Customer; or

  • the name and email address for the billing contact nominated by an Eligible Customer, if the Eligible Customer pays for a subscription to an Eligible Product.

Eligible Customer means any customer of an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program, who uses a Desktop Product or Manual Solution for their business.

Eligible Product means MYOB Business Lite, MYOB Business Pro, MYOB Business Connected Ledger, or MYOB Business Connected Ledger + Payroll, MYOB AccountRight Basic, MYOB AccountRight Standard, MYOB AccountRight Plus, MYOB AccountRight Premier.

Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program means a member of the MYOB Partner Program in Australia (including any member of the Partner, Certified Consultant, Bookkeeper, POS or Connected Account Programs) that receives this Offer via a call from MYOB support or sales representatives or via an email quote from MYOB and either:

  • refers an Eligible Customer to MYOB; or

  • uses a Desktop Product or Manual Solution for their own practice.

Manual Solution means an excel or google spreadsheet, paper ledger book, or any other way of managing the accounting needs of a business that does not involve an accounting or financial management software solution.

Minimum Term means the period of time, starting on the date the Offer is activated, and ending on 30 April 2024.

Offer means this offer, which is subject to these terms and conditions.

User means a user of an Eligible Product.

We, us, our or MYOB means:
