Over half of the 1022 SMEs surveyed don’t have a business website – a stat unchanged from six months ago. Tellingly, business operators who utilise online technologies were more likely to see a revenue rise in the 12 months to August this year.
In fact, business operators who embrace online technologies felt less pressure from the top pain points of SMEs identified in a previous Business Monitor report. However, tech savvy operators felt more pressure from prices margins and/or profitability compared to their peers.
