Find out what’s arrived in MYOB products across small business and practice solutions in July 2021.

Halfway through the year and MYOB’s product releases are ramping up.

With the latest AccountRight, MYOB Practice feature enhancements as well as more time saving efficiencies in MYOB Essentials, July was a busy month at MYOB.

Read on to find out what new features were delivered to MYOB software throughout the month of July.

Small business solutions

MYOB Essentials & AccountRight Browser

MYOB Essentials invoices now come with a unique link that can be easily shared with customers

Users simply need to click ‘View PDF‘ in an invoice and copy the link. It can then be shared however the user chooses to communicate with their customer.

Share invoices online
You can now easily share your invoices online.

For more information, please refer to MYOB’s Help pages.

MYOB Essentials users can now also apply a filter on the ‘Bank Transaction’ screen that remains in place even if they navigate away from the page or log out of the file.

This means:

  • Time savings – no need to keep re-applying the filter settings and a more efficient way to find transactions
  • Better user experience – less disruption when a user is navigating between the bank transactions screen and other parts of their software

MYOB Direct Debit (Australia-only)

MYOB Direct Debit makes it simple for users to set up recurring payments with their customers.

This feature is ideal for businesses who issue recurring invoices or who run a subscription-based business. It’s also great for you if you’re running your clients’ software as an advisor.

MYOB Direct Debit allows the user to:

  • Set up recurring payment plans with their customers
  • Save time automating invoices
  • Collect payments more easily

It also auto reconciles once the invoice is paid and closes the transaction off, so no more repetitive invoicing and reconciliation.

Direct Debit is currently only available to customers using MYOB Essentials (new) with Online Invoice Payments enabled.
