A star-studded lineup including Boost Juice founder, Janine Allis, and illusionist Cosentino join the list of keynote presenters at this year’s event.
MYOB Partner Connect is Australia’s accounting and bookkeeping industry’s must-see event, and it’s returning in September.
This year’s shaping up to be bigger and better than ever.
Joining MYOB CEO Tim Reed and futurist Steve Sammartino is notable Shark Tank judge and founder of Boost Juice, Janine Allis.
Meanwhile, a special appearance from award-winning illusionist Cosentino is guaranteed to entertain those attending.
Each guest presenter has been selected according to their insights and inspiring personal stories of success (and the occasional failure).
Details of the two-day agenda, recently released online, reveal a jam-packed schedule of informational talks and networking sessions.
Leanne Berry, Director of Love Your Numbers, will be presenting two topics on the second day of MYOB Partner Connect 2018: “Women in business – Wealth generation” (certified consultants only) and “Unlocking new revenue streams” (open to all attendees).
“MYOB Partner Connect is about bringing the ‘family’ together,” said Berry. “It’s our opportunity as partners to talk with many MYOB staff members that we may not usually get to speak with, to discover new add-ons and form relationships, troubleshoot issues and generally ‘feel the purple’ for a few days.”
The Small Business Lounge’s managing director, Brooke Arnott, will present “Moving from bookkeeping to a holistic approach” on the second day. She’ll talk about lessons in adaptability, growth and triumph over adversity.
Arnott, who was awarded “Newcomer of the Year” in 2013, and later took out the Innovation Award at the Partner Connect Awards Dinner in 2015, says the event is one of the highlights of her year.
“It’s a chance to learn about new MYOB features, education and growth for my business as well as a chance to catch up with fellow certified consultants and partners from all over Australia,” said Arnott.
“You never know who you’re going to meet at Partner Connect. I was introduced to two of my closest friends and mentors at this event three years ago.
“The support and guidance we now share with each other is invaluable.”
Inaugural MYOB Australian Partner of the Year Rob Marshall, Ebiz Solutions (WA) director, hasn’t missed an MYOB Partner Connect since the early 2000s.

MYOB Partner Connect 2018 will run for two days at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena (20–21 September), offering attendees plenty to learn and celebrate.
