03 Jul 2015

Sparke Helmore Lawyers, in partnership with Deloitte, Macquarie Capital, MYOB, Intralinks, The Australian and 2020 Exchange, is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the Australian Growth Company Awards.

“I’m delighted that Intralinks and 2020 Exchange have joined us in the fourth year of the Awards. We have seen hundreds of companies with combined revenues exceeding $30 billion participate in the Awards. The judging panel are really looking to see applications from companies that can demonstrate sustainable growth and also some differentiators, like strong employee engagement, maverick thinking or market disruption,” said Nick Humphrey, Chairman of the Australian Growth Company Awards and Head of Corporate at Sparke Helmore Lawyers.

The Australian Growth Company Awards focus on celebrating excellence in the mid-market ($25 million to $500 million). They recognise companies that demonstrate high rates of growth, as well as innovation, integrity, contribution to community and sustainability.

Launched in 2012, the Awards have attracted nominees from a range of business sectors and this year there are eight award categories:

  • Growth Company of the Year Award
  • Agri-Business and Food Growth Company of the Year Award
  • Wholesale and Manufacturing Growth Company of the Year Award
  • Financial Services and Business Services Growth Company of the Year Award
  • Health and Life Sciences Growth Company of the Year Award
  • Technology Growth Company of the Year Award
  • Women in Leadership Award, and
  • Exit of the Year Award.

Nominations will be assessed by an independent panel of judges comprised of Award co-sponsor representatives. The judges will be rewarding nominees who meet the eligibility criteria and display outstanding innovation, sustainability and integrity. Winners will be announced at an Awards event on 29 October 2015.

Award nominations open on 1 July and close on 1 September 2015. Nomination forms and further information are available at
