The Melbourne Market Awards are back in 2014, once again recognising excellence in market trading across the Markets of Melbourne. This year MYOB is the proud sponsor of these awards.
Voting opened on Monday and ends on July 31. Market-goers can vote by completing and submitting a form in one of the many voting boxes around the Markets of Melbourne, or online at marketsofmelbourne.com.au.
The MYOB Melbourne Market Awards present a valuable opportunity for Market traders to be recognised for their hard work and dedication to quality, excellence and a great experience.
With four new categories this year, voters will determine their ‘Favourite’ Market traders across 12 different classifications from each Market. Market ‘Favourites’ will then go on to be in the running for the title of Melbourne’s ‘Best’ Market trader in their category.
Melbourne’s ‘Best’ Market traders are chosen by an expert panel of judges who judge trader performance based on a number of factors. These include; freshness of produce (where relevant), presentation, and customer service.
This year’s esteemed judges will be Executive Director of the Australian Retail Association (ARA), Russell Zimmerman, Head Chef and Owner of Saint Crispin and The Estelle, Scott Pickett, and TV presenter and food journalist, Arabella Forge.
