If you have upgraded to the Windows 7 operating system, you may also need to install an update for your MYOB software. Check your MYOB software version below to find out if you need to install an update

BusinessBasics v1.1
No update is required
Accounting v18, Accounting Plus 18, Premier v12 and Premier Enterprise 6
You need to update your MYOB software if you:
- Synchronise MYOB cards with MYOB Outlook contacts
- Use a third-party add-on solution in conjunction with your MYOB software
MYOB Payroll 2009
If you are a user of MYOB Payroll 2009 you need to install an update to ensure compatibility between MYOB Payroll and Windows 7
MYOB RetailBasics v3.3
If you are a user of MYOB RetailBasics prior to version 3.3 you will need to install an update to ensure compatibility between MYOB Payroll and Windows 7
We have also made the following improvements:
- The ‘Whats Selling’ and ‘Sales Period’ reports have been updated so they only display the GST amount when a layby is finalised.
- New enhanced barcode label templates – including updated Avery DL33 to match current market dimensions, plus 2 new label formats, Austab 33s and Austab 65s
MYOB RetailManager v11
You need to update your MYOB software if you:
- Email transactions to clients
- Email communications to clients using the Customer Groups functionality
We have also made the following improvements:
- Resolved the issue where options & settings may be reset after upgrading from earlier versions
- Resolved the issue where extended descriptions of stock items appear on Purchase Orders and Goods Received

Earlier software versions
Earlier versions of MYOB business management software have not been tested for Windows 7 compatibility. MYOB can only certify the current versions of the software will work with Windows 7.
If you have upgraded to Windows 7, or intend to upgrade to Windows 7, we recommend that you also upgrade to the current version of your MYOB software.
