How does two-factor authentication make MYOB PayGlobal Online safer?

Your data is a crucial part of your workforce so two-factor authentication drastically increases protection for your payroll cycles, super, overtime and penalty rates. Even if your passwords are compromised, two-factor authentication keeps your data safe.
What is two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication (or 2FA) is the best way to enhance the safety of your data, by adding an extra layer of security that only you can control. Watch this video to learn more about 2FA. It's a simple addition to your sign-in process - when you use your current username and password, a one-time code is created on your mobile device.
Enter the code as the next sign-in step and you're logged in just like before. A quick extra step which goes a long way to making sure your data is protected more than ever before. Someone might be able to guess your password, but they won't get far without the 2FA code. Which is different every time.
What do I need to do?
2FA functionality will soon be available in MYOB PayGlobal Online. When it is, all you need to do is:
Install app
You’ll need to install the free Google Authenticator app which will create the passcode used for 2FA login.
Sign in
Log into your software as normal and you'll be directed to the quick sign-up process.
Verify
A one-time code is sent to your nominated device. Follow the instructions and enter the code into your software.
That's it!
All your data is now safer and you can use the app to keep it that way with every login.
