Your IMS Payroll upgrade is ready!

Please follow these step-by-step instructions:

Before you begin

If required, log in as a Windows administrator and ensure you’re connected to the Internet and close all applications before starting your installation.

Ensure all ‘Open’ Payroll Periods are closed. Back up each of your payroll companies, via the ‘Tools’ menu, after closing the last payroll period processed in each company.

We recommend that you don’t un-install earlier versions of IMS Payroll, as any custom payroll software or modules will need to be reinstalled.

Downloading your upgrade

Create a folder on your desktop where you can save the installation.

Click the button below to download the software file.

Save the download in the folder you created on your desktop.

Installing your upgrade

Open the downloads folder and double click on the download to run the installation.

Accept the defaults during the process and wait until the installation is complete. It will install to C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files\(x86) by default.

Log on to a payroll company and click “Continue to upgrade”. Open Help > About IMS Payroll Partner and check the version has been updated to Version 6.41

Repeat this process on every computer that has the IMS Payroll Partner application installed.
