Step 1: Open your MYOB Practice Dashboard and select the Transaction processing page.

Step 2: Click on the Create file button.

Step 3: Complete your new client information, nominate who pays the subscription fee – your client or your practice – and select the product you would like to purchase for your client.

How do I convert multiple ledgers to MYOB?

Contact your Sales Specialist who'll be able to help guide you through converting multiple ledgers to MYOB.

What data is converted to MYOB?

There are two types of conversions that you can choose from. You can find the full list of what data is converted here.

Basic

  • Chart of accounts
  • Customer details (name, email address, postal address, telephone number, website)
  • Supplier details (name, email address, postal address, telephone number, website)
  • Conversion date balances (trial balance)
  • Open sales invoices and credit notes
  • Open purchase invoices and credit notes
  • Item master details (name, item description, sale account, purchase account)
  • Single currency files
  • Fully subsidised by MYOB**

Transactional

All the basics conversion plus:

  • Current plus previous year transaction history
  • Bank transactions (includes invoice payments, bill payments and other bank transactions)
  • Credit card transactions
  • All invoices and credit notes details
  • All bills and credit notes detailed
  • All manual journals
  • Jobs and categories can be brought as classes
  • Fully subsidised by MYOB**

**Additional financial years historical transactions – $150 per year payable directly to MMC Convert.
