MYOB Enterprise channel to get added Star Power

Star Business Solutions to be acquired by MYOB as part of ANZ Enterprise growth strategy.

MYOB today announced the acquisition of Star Business Solutions – a leading business management and enterprise solutions partner, to bolster its direct sales and service channel for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions.

The acquisition will see Star Business Solutions bring decades of global software market experience, including customisation and implementation of MYOB’s on-premise ERP solution Greentree, to MYOB as the business continues its acceleration into the mid-market.

MYOB General Manager for Enterprise, Kim Clarke, said: “Star Business Solutions has been one of MYOB’s top performing Enterprise partners for many years. Winner of the MYOB Excellence in Business Development Award three years running and MYOB Partner of the Year in 2016, Star Business Solutions has a proven track record helping Australian mid-market businesses and not-for-profit organisations with their business management solutions.

The acquisition will see Star Business Solutions’ Advanced specialists join MYOB to enhance its direct channel function, with Ms Hall joining MYOB to oversee the management of all Greentree customers serviced directly by MYOB.

Ms Clarke said Greentree customers would be a key beneficiary of the acquisition: “Combining forces with our largest Greentree partner and developer will bring new focus and attention to delivering best-in-class experiences for our customers.”

Star Business Solutions Chief Executive Officer, Trish Hall, said she saw the power of what could be done for customers by working together with MYOB, and came up with a proposition that both organisations were excited to invest in.
