Greentree UK prepares for future success

Leading business management software provider MYOB has announced that current Greentree UK Managing Director Harry Mowat will take over ownership of the Greentree’s operations in the United Kingdom.

“Greentree in the UK is a fast growing, profitable business with good year on year growth in terms of revenue and client acquisition,” says Mr Mowat.

“Its strong partner community reflects this success and contributes to Greentree brand recognition in the UK marketplace.”

MYOB acquired Greentree in August 2016. The established Auckland-based business delivers leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to over 850 larger businesses across Australia, New Zealand, US and the UK.

Greentree distributes via a partner channel into the enterprise market, comprising companies with approximately 100 – 1,000 employees. Its product suite has broad, on-premise ERP functionality and licensing is primarily perpetual with annual maintenance.

“The new strategy will be implemented using a master distribution model, under the ownership of Mr Mowat.  This will allow him to be in control of the product direction to align to the local UK product requirements, market conditions,” says MYOB Enterprise General Manager Carolyn Luey

“MYOB will support Greentree UK providing full access to the Greentree product and go to market updates.”

Ms Luey says Mr Mowat is best placed to continue the Greentree UK journey, having established and built the operation over the past 6 years. He will expand the local technical and development team to execute his strategy for product direction, marketing, brand and public relations.

“I’m excited about the opportunities we have to take Greentree to more mid-sized business clients across the UK,” says Mr Mowat.
