Crowe Horwath enhances cloud offering with MYOB accounting solutions

11 Dec 2013

MYOB is pleased to announce leading accounting firm Crowe Horwath has partnered with MYOB to support its small to medium business (SME) clients in migrating to popular cloud accounting solutions AccountRight Live and LiveAccounts.

Crowe Horwath has nearly 3,000 principals, professionals and support staff in New Zealand and Australia, specialising in meeting the needs of SMEs and individuals. The majority of its clients are privately-owned and family businesses as well as individuals seeking to prosper. The company also provides services to government agencies and not-for-profit organisations.

MYOB General Manager - Accountants Division Adam Ferguson says, “We are very pleased to work with Crowe Horwath - a prestigious firm ranked in the top 10 global accounting networks - in enhancing its cloud accounting and business advisory services. The partnership is the next step to an already fruitful and long-standing relationship, and we look forward to supporting Crowe Horwath and their clients in their journey to the cloud.”

Some of the biggest payoffs of cloud accounting solutions include saving time on manual data entry with bank feeds, reducing rework, increasing collaboration and productivity, and strengthening client relationships.

“With cloud accounting solutions, Crowe Horwath can work more efficiently with client data and provide real-time business advisory services. More than half of new MYOB registrations across New Zealand and Australia are for cloud accounting solutions, with this increasing each month as more business owners and managers realise the benefits,” says Mr Ferguson.

Crowe Horwath’s Cloud Sponsor & Group Chief Information Officer, Greg Emsley, says cloud accounting is a key priority for the business in developing enhanced engagement with clients. “Cloud accounting solutions allow us to provide real time advice on up to date information to businesses, helping them develop and grow. MYOB has been a long term provider to many of our clients and we are pleased to continue this relationship with their new cloud solutions.”
