Are there more export functions in the new Essentials? Toggle Section

Import and export functionality has been significantly enhanced in the new MYOB Essentials. You can now import and export a chart of accounts, items, contacts and employees. Discover more information here.

Is there training available for MYOB Practice? Toggle Section

Yes, all online modules offer helpful training content. We provide both self-paced learning and consulting services to meet the needs of all our Partners. 

When will merchant fees be added to invoices? Toggle Section

We’re currently building the functionality to add your OIP fees to invoices in the form of a surcharge that your customer will pay. We expect this to be available to AccountRight and Essentials customers later this year.

When will AO come online? Toggle Section

We’ll be gradually releasing new functionality as it becomes available. We already have some modules online such as corporate compliance and more will be coming each quarter.

When is the new version of AccountRight web browser available and when can I try it? Toggle Section

We’re aiming to begin the roll-out of browser support for AccountRight from late July 2020. In the meantime, you can apply to become an early adopter here.

When are you going to add multi-currency to General Journals and Jobs functionality? Toggle Section

We’re aiming to deliver multi-currency to General Journals with the upcoming new AccountRight 2020.3 release. Multi-currency is not yet available in the new MYOB Essentials for clients using the Jobs functionality. If you’re working with a multi-currency AccountRight client using the browser, you’ll only be able to create or edit transactions – including adding or editing a job to a transaction – in your local currency.

Can you add your own chart of accounts as a common chart of accounts for all clients? Toggle Section

Yes, you can create a chart of accounts template that can be used across all of your clients. The easiest way to do this is by creating a CSV or TXT file containing your chart template that can be imported each time you create a new business. Discover more information here

Will there be further updates to tax 2020? Toggle Section

There have been significant regulatory changes this period from both the Government and the ATO. This means we’ll be delivering more service packs for the rest of 2020 to keep you up-to-date.
