Nearly half (44%) of Gen Y small businesses have applied for finance in the last year and more than a third (39%) of those applications were declined, according to the latest findings from the MYOB Business Monitor.

MYOB strengthens industry leadership position, delivering 57% increase in new online subscribers in 2018
Thursday 21 February: MYOB today released its financial results for the full year ending 31 December 2018, reporting 229,000 new online subscribers, or a 57% increase, in the 12 months to reach a total of 628,000 online subscribers, strengthening its leadership position and remaining on track to reach 1 million online subscribers by 2020.

MYOB is ready to hit go on a $10 Single Touch Payroll (STP) solution for businesses with four employees or less, should the Federal Government’s STP legislation pass. The legislative change would mean 749,000* Australian businesses that employ 19 people or less will be legally obliged to submit their payroll data to the ATO from 1 July.
