Reece and MYOB join forces to give “tradies” their weekends back
06 Aug 2018
Australia’s leading plumbing and bathroom distributor Reece has integrated MYOB’s cloud-based business solutions into its digital sales channels, streamlining bookkeeping for its customers.
Reece customers can already buy products, track deliveries in real-time and email quotes to customers through Reece’s online and mobile applications. Now Reece customers can have their invoices appear directly in their MYOB in-tray, replacing manual entries and helping improve cashflow.
Reece Group Chief Marketing and Supply Officer, Adrian Palumbo, said that Reece is committed to giving customers innovative products and digital services to run their businesses.
“Reece has close and longstanding relationships with our customers. We know they want access to business management tools so that they can focus on their customers and growing their businesses,” Mr. Palumbo said.
“Integrating MYOB with our online business management system, maX, provides an end-to-end digital experience for our customers, from finding products, providing customer quotes to now sending and tracking invoices and payments.
“With these new features, Reece customers will have more time to do the work they love and get their weekends back to spend time with their families,” he said.
Simplifying invoicing for business owners and bookkeepers
The integration with Reece helps keep business transactions online, making invoicing and compliance easier than ever.
“Once set up, there’s no need for the customer to take any additional action to have their bill appear directly in their MYOB in-tray,” said David Weickhardt, MYOB General Manager Product.
“It also removes the need for manual entry and is a great example of how we can make life easier for small businesses, as part of our efforts to capture documents at the source.”
“This builds on the partnership MYOB has with Officeworks. We look forward to partnering with more retailers in the future to help simplify business and remove some of the pain points for business owners.”
The Australian government announced in May it will adopt e-invoicing, with the change expected to have a positive impact on the economy. MYOB sees electronic transactions, including integrations such as this one, as the way of the future. CEO Tim Reed has vocally supporting the Black Economy Taskforce announced in the 2018 Federal Budget.
Reece invoices can be sent directly through to MYOB Essentials and Account Right accounts. See MYOB.com/au for more details.
