Just one month since the finish of the 2016 MYOB Incite Roadshow, MYOB is receiving positive reception and strong uptake of its vision for the future of the accounting industry.
MYOB recently presented ‘The Connected Practice’ in its national INCITE event, outlining its latest innovations that enable practices to future proof their businesses. With the adoption of online and mobile having significant impacts on the accounting profession, the Connected Practice is the guiding light to MYOBs continuing investment in online accounting. It delivers time and efficiency to practices, enabling them to grow their advisory business.
Grant Thornton Partner, Dale Ryan has welcomed the Connected Practice vision, recognising its value towards greater workability between practices and their clients.
“Technology and innovation in the compliance space allows us additional time to focus on advisory services that our clients consider to be most valued as we help them on their growth journey. MYOB enables portability of real time information which often leads to highly collaborative growth conversations with our clients in the convenience of their workplace,” says Mr. Ryan.
As part of the product innovations announced at INCITE, partners are now able to access an online single dashboard view across all of their client’s MYOB cloud accounting solutions. The product has received strong uptake in its short time in market with over 7, 500 users. This has far surpassed the company’s expectations for the solution, and demonstrates the importance of efficiency tools across an increasing number of cloud enabled clients.
Andrew Birch, MYOB General Manager of Industry Solutions was thrilled with the strong response from Practices across Australia and New Zealand around the concept of the Connected Practice, and also the strong uptake from those already utilising the new Client Accounting Solution with online ledgers for efficiencies. Mr Birch said “I was recently speaking to a large accounting network and their excitement around all of the opportunities ahead was palpable”.
“We are absolutely focused on delivering the future of the accounting industry, and that means delivering innovative solutions today that will be critical for tomorrow. Over the longer term, as showcased at INCITE, we are building the MYOB platform which lets businesses and accountants connect seamlessly online, taking advantage of the transformations occurring within the industry.”
